Refunds & Cancellations

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to provide a fair refund policy for all our Female Explorers. Please review the guidelines below to understand our refund terms:

  1. Cancellations Made by the Traveler:

    • More than 60 days before departure: A full refund will be provided, minus a small administrative fee to cover processing costs.

    • 30-59 days before departure: A 50% refund of the trip cost will be issued.

    • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund will be given due to the costs already committed to accommodations, guides, and other arrangements.

  2. Cancellations Made by Female Explorers:

    • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, local restrictions, or other force majeure events, we will offer a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another date or trip at no additional cost.

  3. Transfer of Bookings:

    • If you need to cancel but can no longer receive a refund due to timing, you may transfer your booking to another person up to 14 days before departure, subject to approval and administrative fees.

  4. Additional Terms:

    • Non-Refundable Deposits: For trips requiring a deposit to reserve a spot, this deposit is non-refundable but may be transferable to a future trip if canceled more than 60 days before departure.

    • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes to plans, including illness or injury, as Female Explorers cannot make exceptions to the refund policy.
